LINKRAY
LINKRAY will seamlessly relay messages between any charger management system and the connected charge points, acting mostly as a transparent proxy. LINKRAY can monitor and modify charging levels as required through Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP). Since LINKRAY is on-site & local to the chargers, it can be configured to interface and respond to local energy systems adjusting charger outputs quickly and effectively. LINKRAY can also be accessed remotely via a dedicated web portal or a cloud access service.
With the addition of a main local power meter tied to the LINKRAY via ModBus RS485 dynamic balance of EV charging power can be commensurate with the availability of the main service.
Unlike other products on the market, the LINKRAY can continue controlling the charge and operating locally even with the disconnection of the back office (CSMS), or the cloud access.
LINKRAY is simple to install and easy to set up, it requires only an OCPP 1.6J connection to each of the chargers, regardless of the individual charger power rating, and to the back office. The LINKRAY can be configured with the back office (CSMS) connection URL and the chargers are configured to connect to the LINKRAY. Once this is set up, normal operation will be established. Neither the back office nor the charge points need any extra software to work with LINKRAY.
LINKRAY is compatible with most charger manufacturers and can operate in mixed charging environments i.e. DC and single/3-phase AC chargers. Load balancing can be enabled on a per charger basis. Chargers can also be easily grouped in different levels in the Single Line to simplify the control management. A built-in web app allows control over how LINKRAY interacts with the chargers, enabling adjustment of charge profiles according to on-site energy demands, providing the means for load balancing the system.
